Are you our next Community Lead & Social Media Coordinator at BLCK Gym?
We’re looking for an energetic, creative, and people-obsessed leader to elevate our community experience while shaping the voice and presence of BLCK Gym online. This is a role for someone who understands people as much as they understand content, someone who can build relationships, create moments, and communicate the BLCK identity with clarity and confidence.
You’ll be the connector between members and the brand: driving engagement on the gym floor, supporting events, capturing powerful content, and ensuring everything we share reflects our culture, discipline, connection, and high performance.

What You'll Be doing
- Creating, capturing high-quality content for BLCK Gym’s social media platforms
- Developing a strong and consistent online presence that reflects the BLCK identity
- Publishing frequent social media posts, stories, and community updates
- Engaging with members online through messages, comments, and community interactions
- Sharing member highlights, progress moments, and community stories across platforms
- Running in-gym events, workshops, challenges, and community activities
- Building and managing a monthly events calendar for members and the coaching team
- Supporting new member onboarding through community engagement and communication
- Collaborating with staff to capture key coaching moments, class energy, and gym culture
- Ensuring a professional, welcoming, and engaging atmosphere both online and on the gym floor
What You'll Need
Essential Qualities & Experience:
- A strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Reels, Stories)
- Confidence capturing photos and videos in a busy gym environment
- Strong communication skills and a people-first personality
- Creativity, attention to detail, and consistency in content quality
- A welcoming, energetic presence that helps members feel supported and connected
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise, and stay organised
- Comfort speaking with members, staff, and being part of community-facing moments
- A passion for fitness, community, and storytelling through content
- Professionalism, reliability, and a team-first mindset
Bonus If You Also Have:
- Basic editing skills (CapCut, Adobe, or similar)
- Experience managing gym brand social media accounts
- Experience hosting or supporting events
- Eye for aesthetics, branding, and visual storytelling
- Confidence on camera or directing others on camera
