Are you our next Customer Service Assistant at BLCK Gym?

We’re looking for an organised, positive, and people-focused team member to support our community and deliver high-quality service across our digital and in-person channels. This role is perfect for someone who communicates clearly, solves problems quickly, and genuinely enjoys helping others feel supported and valued.

You’ll be the first point of contact for member enquiries, handling messages, emails, membership questions, and day-to-day support needs with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. Your work will help our members feel heard, informed, and confident every time they interact with BLCK.

What You'll Be doing

  • Responding to member enquiries through email, DMs, and ticketing systems
  • Supporting members with account updates, membership changes, cancellations, and general questions
  • Resolving issues professionally and escalating only when necessary
  • Managing and organising incoming support tickets to ensure timely follow-up
  • Keeping accurate notes and updates across member accounts and conversations
  • Communicating clearly between members and BLCK staff to keep issues moving
  • Assisting with daily customer-experience tasks and member support operations
  • Maintaining a calm, friendly, and solutions-focused approach in all interactions
  • Helping ensure every member has a positive, smooth experience with BLCK Gym

What You'll Need

Essential Qualities & Experience:
  • Experience in a customer service or customer-facing role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence using ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk) or willingness to learn
  • Calm, professional, and empathetic communication style
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple conversations simultaneously
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a consistent work ethic
  • A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help members
Bonus If You Also Have:
  • Experience in fitness, gyms, or member-based environments
  • Experience handling complaints or difficult conversations
  • A natural ability to stay composed under pressure
